I have a 2003 Rio with 81,000 miles on it and my ac doesn't work. I recently just charged it up and its still blowing warm air. I don't know what else to do.
What are your A/C pressure readings? It could be a bad pressure switch.
How do i check that?
A/C manifold set for the pressures, test light and a ohm meter to test the switches.
I'll have to go buy it because I don't have one on hand. Is there another way to figure it out?
Well it is hard on the compressor if there is not enough Freon but you could jumper the pressure switches and see if the compressor turns on when you select A/C mode, but don't run it long without pressure gauges, that will just tell you that the circuits are good right to the switches.
