79' Chevy K10 struggles to start

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

It takes a good 10 pumps of the gas pedal to get my truck
to start. If it has been running, it will start immediately. The
longer it has been sitting unused, the longer it takes to turn
over and fire. Is this a fuel pump issue? Thank you!

I would start with the simple things first like change air filter , fuel filter and clean carb with carburetor cleaner and add some to gas tank.

So I replaced both the air filter and fuel filter, and ran some Sea Foam through the tank and the carburetor. Still no improvement here. :(
