Advice on new car purchase Chevy Equinox

Asked by MrCJ Mar 02, 2018 at 04:15 PM about the 2018 Chevrolet Equinox 1.5T LT AWD

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

I am thinking of buying a Chevy Equinox 2018. I'm a little nervous, haven't really owned a chevy except for a short period about 20 years ago.

Is the new 2018 the first year they've done the Turbo? Is this Turbo reliable or will it be prone to potential problems?

Just looking for advice, I am very open right now to any vehicle of any brand but I do hate ford and we have had a lot of issues with our 2007 Camry that we've had since new.

Oh my God, I have a 2014 and I love mine. If I could afford a 2018 I would. Good on gas and the perfect size for me, now that my children are grown. It looks a little sporty and I am in the process of getting some shiney rims. Mine is black and I have my initials on the windows, its a really good looking vehicle. I think that you would really like one!

Thanks for answering! I was thinking of getting a black vehicle also. Not sure about the AWD, I don't want to potentially have more issues, wondering if it's better to just stick with a FWD. What engine is in yours?

I have a 2008 I hate mine. It is always in the Shop they can not fix it right. 2 different places
