Remove the drive shaft when towing using a dolly...Yes or no
I plan to tow a 1990 Cherokee AT 4WD about 600 miles using a dolly. Most generic info says to remove the driveshaft. Is it necessary for this specific car?
Is it auto or manual? If it`s auto the driveshaft must be disconnected.
For that kind of mileage I would take it out, if it was only a short distance of about 10 miles you could get away with putting the transfer case in neutral. Double check the tie down straps regularly, you don't want to see your jeep passing you going down the road.
