Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Good day all.
Really need some advice.
My bakkie,Corsa 1.7diesel(with A/C) is having
problems to start, charged the battery up and put it
back still same problem.
Put the battery in a Isuzu KB and it started fine.
Took it for a test and the auto elect told me its the
alternator another tells me its the starter.
I cant find the starter on the bakkie, only have the
bakkie for 3wks or so, so not clued up as yet where
everything sits as yet.
Please help as to how i can check and what i can
check to find the fault.
I push start it and it starts immediately and quickly
but another guy told me its my bushes on my
starter thats finished.
I think its a 2001 model from what i was told

I'm having the same problem. Corsa Bakkie 2002 model 1.7D. Won't start after standing for a while but start's immediately every other time and starts quickly with a push start. Is there someone out there that can offer some advice ? I'm desperately seeking answers.

Had the same problem but I got a guy to fix my starter and you need to warm THE glow plugs before you start the car. FIRST WARM YOUR PLUGS for 5 minutes
