Truck won't drive forward

Asked by James Oct 26, 2018 at 09:53 PM about the 1999 Ford Ranger XL Standard Cab SB

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Truck will drive in reverse just fine. When I
put it in 1st gear it tries to go forward but
won't. The back tires spin but won't go.

Lift the front wheels with a jack to see if they turn freely. There may be a brake or wheel bearing issue.

I have the same issue. Did you figure out what's causing it?
