Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Yesterday while driving down the interstate
my truck completely shut off, no power
steering or anything. I pulled off to the side
of the road and tried starting it. Nothing, no
clicking like it was even trying to turn over.
While the key was in the accessory
position, everything on the dash like the
stereo and the scanner kept trying to turn
on. But they kept turning on and off. I
checked all the fuses in the truck and under
the hood. They were all fine. I had my dad
grab me a new battery on his way and it
wasn't the battery either. Although the
positive terminal was extremely hot. I also
heard a weird clicking noise under the
steering wheel. Any help on what needs
replaced or fixed would be greatly
appreciated! Thank you in advance!

Checked all the ground wires and they're good and secure. And all the wires going to the relay are fine. I went to start it today and I had to time pushing down the clutch and turning the key perfectly, but I got it to try and crack over
