what happens is that after it heats up it dies like someone reaches over and shuts of the
key after it cools down it will restart.

sounds like a bad crank sensor or a bad fuel pump ...when it dies you have to check to see if you loose spark or fuel or even both...// which ever your missing will be the next step from there
