replacing clutch and can not get the transmission to brake loose

If your sure you have all the bolts out then it is most likely the input shaft is stuck in the pilot bushing, you may have to get two pry bars and start working on alternating pressure on the bell housing to get it out. When you do get it out check the end of the shaft, if it's nicked up some use a good emery cloth to smooth it down before you put in into the new pilot bushing. You can trial,fit on the shaft before the new bushing is installed in the flywheel just too make sure it's smooth enough.
