I'm interested in a 1995 Cherokee Sport 4.0 L as my first car, it has 156,000 miles on it. Which areas should I focus my inspection on? Thank you so much in advance.
Everything, with that kind of mileage. Brakes, differentials, transmission/transfercase, engine compression, cooling system, and the list goes on.
Why guess, have a local mechanic inspect it for you. That way they can get it on the lift and check for rust and other issues. A small price to pay to know your making a good purchase, or if you want to do it yourself....https://www.youtube.com/watch? v=vC8LbvYk6es&t=26s
don't buy it
