I bought a 1997 jeep wangler 4x4 automatic it's not lifted or no big tires but my speedometer is showing in going 90 mph when I'm really going 70 mph any ideas on how to fix the problem

tou need to have a mecanic hook up a scaner and recalibrate the electronics heel travel a mile and time it with the scaner and the scaner will calibrate your truck
some ov the older drive shafts also have magnets glued evenly speced for the cruzze cont if one of thoes got knocked off that could efectyour readings also if the gear ratio was changed or transfer case was switched out (still fit diferent ratio) thats about all i can think of thers a place in phx az called dicks speedo tack
