Transmission wnt engage

I dropped transmission to change rear main seal
which it still leaks but now transmission wnt
engage

Be sure the shifter cable is working and did not brake broken somewhere in the housing when you removed the transmission. Also, check the shift control solenoid. Retrace your steps and make sure that everything was put back correctly.
