1999 ford mustang 35. 3.8 v6
Battery cap dying only after it sat for 2 hours so
went and replace the battery went and got a brand
new alternator put it in car will crank fine but after
cutting it off and let it sit overnight the battery will
be dead but now as long as I unhook the positive
terminal the car will crank every day what would
cause this drainage
SOMETHING IS DRAWING/SUCKING VOLTAGE FROM THE BATTERY.. COULD BE A 10TH VOLT - 12 VOLTS... PULL ONE FUSE AT A TIME AND SEE /WATCH IF / WHEN THE DRAW SLOWS / STOP .
Look up on how to check for a parasitic draw. Kelly has the right idea.
