Methanol, if you can find regular unleaded no methanol fuel your mileage will increase, that is assuming that everything else is up to specs. i was getting 14mpg on my V8 before methanol dropped to 11 with methanol. My Acura that has the 3.2 V6 was getting 13 before it has now dropped to 9 using methanol. Newer engines have been redesigned for this garbage so you get better mileage. So as Mr. Cronkite used to say "That's the way it is"
