Is 1999, 35th anniversary edition mustang worth more than a normal GT?

Asked by Mar 17, 2016 at 09:45 PM about the 1999 Ford Mustang GT Convertible

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

I am buying a 1999 35th anniversary edition mustang convertible with only
24,000 miles on it. Extremely clean condition. NADA says its worth $17000,
where kbb doesn't even have a category for the anniversary edition, and says
that a 99 Mustang GT is only worth $5700.
Which is correct pricing?

All the '99 Mustangs were 35th anniversary editions..Both the base and GT models had "35th Anniversary" badges on the fenders. The 35th Anniversary Limited Edition GT model included a raised hood scoop, a black stripe running down the center of the hood, larger side scoops, a larger, unique spoiler, and a black honeycomb insert in the trunk lid.

The one you are buying is probably a regular GT vert worth around $5825 in Excellent condition. Since it has lo miles might be worth a little more.
