Is there a sensor, to make the fan run,once the motor is turned off,should the fan run after its turned offinorder to cool the motor down?

Yes the fan will run until the radiator is cooled down.

There is a thermostatic switch on the electric fan that will let it run until the engine cools down enough and then it will shut off
