Why does my right signal all of a sudden blink really fast?

Asked by Sep 12, 2014 at 04:41 PM about the 2000 Jeep Wrangler SE

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2000 Jeep Wrangler Sport and all of a sudden my right signal blinks really fast when I use it.  The left signal is normal but my right is much faster than it used to be.  I replaced the blub on the right and the signal/brake light is also much dimmer than the left too.  Is this a fuse issue?

Check the bulbs, connectors and wiring on that side, maybe some corrosion? A fast blinker is always a burnt out bulb or the wiring.
