Do all cars have an airbag light? I have a 2002 jeep cherokee, and I can't seem to find them. I tried to get it registered but they told me that my lights don't turn on. What does that mean?
Yes your Jeep has an air bag light, it is located in the upper center of the instrument cluster and should come on when you first turn on the key and then turn off if the air bag system is operational. Your owners manual will give you more information.
It could be a burned out lamp, but it could be burned out due to it might be on all of the time the engine is running.
Thank u soo much, I appreciate the time. I'm definitely going to jump on this. Thank u.
The other bad thing is if it is a used car someone could have disconnected the light to hide the presence of an airbag fault. If there is an airbag fault the airbags will not deploy in an emergency.
