99 ford explorer.when you hit a bump the ac kicks in and then when you turn off the vehicle it doesnt work anymore could it be the blower

Does only the blower motor kick in? What about the compressor? Start the car in the driveway. Turn on the a/c and see if the compressor kicks in. If the compressor is running you probably have a loose connection at the blower or a bad winding in the blower motor.
