do you have a battery light on the dash illuminated or is this when driving?

Get a tune up and change the oil.

Could be a fuel injector thats what happen to me

I have a 2002 Jeep Liberty that has about 136,000 miles on it. It has received every required servicing including and oil and filter change every 3600 miles. Right now, between servicings I have to put in 1 to 2 quarts of oil. I have asked my service representative, Jake at York Jeep about it and he says that it is just because it is an older car. I have talked to a couple mechanics, who basically said "that's crap" and that if my car has received all its servicings this should not be happening. Does anyone have any thoughts on this? 4 Answers
