Can you, or have you ever installed a clutch fan on a Jeep Liberty '02?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Our electric fan gave ouy and we are looking into replacing it with a clutch fan. Everyone we have talked to say they have never heard of someone putting a clutch fan in a Liberty and so we wanted to talk to someone who has done it and see how it worked out for them.

the fan clutch set up was only on the 4clynder, but it is very easy to replace the electric fan and only cost about 160 to do it yourself, so in the end its not worth all the hassel to even try, beside the 3.7 has a pressed on pully and would most likely be imposible to convert over

NO it cant be done, you dont have to replace the fans on it,just replace the switch leading to bottom of fan,if they are not kicking on,just turn on your AC on max, they WILL come on that way,
