Jeep wrangler

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My jeep keeps dying everything I go to take off its a
5 speed it also has a rough idle and we can't get it
to stay running and my oil gauge keeps popping up
but there is oil in it

1 Answer

Just because there is oil in the crankcase, doesn't mean there is oil pressure. But that is not the most likely issue. Engines dying at idle or initial acceleration are often fuel related. Or, it could be timing, especially since you said it idles rough., I would take it in for diagnosis. There are simply too many possibilities.
