Asked by Jul 16, 2016 at 10:47 AM about the 2004 Jeep Liberty Sport 4WD

Question type: General

I have a 2004 jeep liberty 3.7 with 103000 miles
the oil light went on only when the car was stopped
and not while driving. I changed the pump and the
pressure switch. But the light still goes on every
time I come to a stop. Would would be causing this

You need to manually check what the oil pressure actually is with a manual gauge in the oil pressure sensor port. This will determine if it's mechanical or electrical
