If a transmission swap is possible?

I need a new trannsmittion for my jeep liberty. So
my question is does anyone know if a
transmission from a 2002 jeep liberty renegade
fit and work /run in a 2004 jeep liberty sport.

There were different transmission offered on the Liberty KJ. 2002 to 2007. I think the Renegade has a 4 speed automatic. Does your Sport have the same 3.7L V6 engine and transmission? Match the numbers of the transmissions, it should be on the casing.
