Can Jeep Wrangler clutch tension be adjusted?

Can the clutch pedal be adjusted to require less pressure to be pedal for shifting?

The only way to do this is to change the style of pressure plate for the clutch itself. I have heard of people experimenting with different clutch master cylinders and electronic units, but have not heard of anything as a definitive cure.
