2005 jeep liberty traction control light on how do you shut if off

traction control must be on and light stays on need to turn t/c off cause when
driving snowy icey weather the rear tires are making the jeep sway back and
forth.

When traction control comes on, need to ease off the accelerator because the ESP is helping to control your vehicle during when traction is lost. Turning it off is not recommended and should check tires for problems
