I have a 99 Ford Explorer sport v6 and i was wondering whats my best option to make it louder?

You could get a performance muffler. You'll get a nice rumble but still pass emissions inspection. HTH. - Jim

Checkout cat back systems.

Cat back systems is the way to go with a new perf muffler & perf cat converter with a slightly larger dia exhaust pipe & match up larger dia tubes with muffler & cat & exhaust pipe altogether. Like 2 & 1/2" to 3" dia depending on your engine & budget. Some exhaust shops will even bend up custom pipes! & or there is always glass pack mufflers.
