blue smokeafter starting?

After a few days of setting  my 2017 ford 150 puts out some blue smoke.
Anyone know why? Just after setting a few days not everyday

Blue smoke means the engine is burning oil. Does your truck have the 5.0L engine, it has been know to have issues related to burning oil. Have your Ford Dealer check the engine. There are some TSB's out there related to this issue.

Sounds like oil is running down the valve stem, past worn valve guide seals, and dripping into the cylinders. You can try using a heavier weight oil, but new valve guide seals are the permanent fix. Hope that helps! Jim
