How to get a factory stereo out of a 1999 ford explorer eddie bauer
Does it have 2 vertical holes spaced about 1" apart on each side? You need to get the special tool found at any auto parts store or you can use finishing nails to depress the locks that hold it in the dash.
I have done that it will not come out
You need to push the tools in until they click, then push the tools outward while pulling. Make sure no other trim panel is in the way. If that doesn't work, you will need to get to the backside/sides of the radio from the underside of the dash to set it free.
Thanks my friend got it out for me
