Went to look at 2017 Honda Civic; dealer told me that cars with Honda Sensing are not normally sent them by Honda. They could not tell me Why, so -- does anyone know why Honda Sensing wouldn't work in S. Texas? does it use IR and it's too hot in summer?

I looked at the Honda site and Honda Sensing is available as a $1000 option for the Civic EX. You might have to order one from the factor to get the option. Salesman always want to sell what they have on the lots first. They order them ahead of time and load them with options that they think most customers will purchase and what will make them the most profit.
