front brakes grinding on 1999 ford eddie bauer
expedition front and rear brake pads and rotors
were just replaced 3 months ago
first of all...who replaced the brake parts???
Second of all, I bet they used cheap parts, you may need to get the rotos cut or replaced with better ones.
Thanks for responding I purchased the parts brand new from Auto Zone and my brother-in-law put them on
Something might've broke loose or a bad caliper that is not releasing
There's also yellow dust around the rim just on the driver side
Brothers in law are not known for being master mechanics. Better have it checked out by someone who knows what they are doing.
Indeed. He did work at a repair shop as a qualified technician. He has done the brakes on both of my vehicles previously with no issues thereafter.
If you still trust him have him check it out. Clearly something is wrong and it probably is a safety issue!
Auto Zone sells cheap Chinese parts...buy better parts from Rock Auto
I hear ya. I reckon Rock Auto has a store in NJ? Their site says they're in Wisconsin.
