Question type: Maintenance & Repair

It's not shifting as fast as it should ,I wouldn't have bought if I would have known it was a
lot of trouble just to put transmission fluid

No it is not, there is a procedure to do it, and you need a special tool to do it right, but I used a manual siphon tube to refill my tranny. Do you know any of the maintenance records? Has the tranny ever been serviced and filters replaced? If there is any question about it then now would be the time to do it. Varnish is the killer on these trannys is gets in the solenoids and valve body, so service is a biggie.
