My abs light is on in my 1998 Rodeo. is there a way i can disconnect something to make my abs light go out. I have to bring my car in for inspection and they will not pass me if abs light is on.

Try cleaning the sensors located in the wheels themselves. 9 times out of 10 brake dust and dirt block the signal and the light comes on. BTW even if you could turn off the light without fixing the problem the code is stored in the cars computer.
