2017 malibu radio

Asked by Mar 17, 2017 at 11:36 PM about the 2017 Chevrolet Malibu LT

Question type: General

After starting the malibu remotely, I got into
the car, and pushed the start button.
Everything worked normally except the radio
display did not come on. The screen stayed
dark. The power button would not turn it on,
nor any of the radio buttons on the steering
wheel. Had to turn the car off, then on again
to get radio on. Is there a problem? Any info
will be greatly appreciated.

You have a car warranty, take it to your dealer and have it fixed for free.

That's obvious, and I will but they are not open now, just thought I might get some inteligent insight, here while the dealer is CLOSED! I don't think there is a problem, the car has 300 miles on it. May be something I'm not doing, or overlooking.

Well we will see i have an 2017 Malibu also brand new no issue's, but my father has a 2016 new Camaro SS and his amplifier went out they are fixing the issue now. So i guess we have to wait a year for recalls. But thay had recalls on the 2016 Malibu and i hope they corrected it before we bought ours!! ☺
