I have a 2003 ford windstar van, started it up and it backfired, now it wont turn over. what do you think this is? could it be a coil or celinoid?

Could be a jumped or broken timing chain. Run a compression test. If all cylinders read low your timing chain (or belt) has jumped or is broken. This is especially suspect if you have high mileage. HTH. -Jim
