Why have nearly all of my power features stopped working?

Asked by Jul 27, 2014 at 03:40 PM about the 2000 Ford Taurus SE

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

On my way home I noticed my speedometer and tachometer stopped working when my
radio shut off. Also my ac and power windows. I'm assuming my headlights and brake
lights went as well since my turn signal wouldn't activate. When I parked the car it began
to rev sporadically yet no indication on the tachometer. Any suggestions would be
appreciated.

Check all of your power and ground connections, you would be surprised on the things that can happen cause a circuit has lost a ground, don't forget to check the main fuses in the power distribution box as well as the interior fuse box fuses.
