What are the OBDii codes? Did you scan the car yourself, take the car to a local auto parts store?

OBDII check first, Auto Zone can check codes for free, could be 02 sensor, temp sensor, crank sensor, the most common

also did you disconnect the battery to reset ecm, or reset with OBD
