Why does my 1988 c1500 stall after running fora hour

Runs for a hour than stalls leave for 8 hours it starts runs for a hour than stalls.

I have replaced fuel filter fuel pump pump pressure regulator EGR ECM fuel
pump relay switch fuel pump fuse. I have spark but not fuel coming out of  the
injectors

Things need to be tested when the problem occurs , Look for a good motor to chassis ground fuel pump power/ground Or proper fuel tank ventilation . Fuel pump gets momentary power when you hit the key till engine starts .

On this era (OBD I) GM vehicles can have a no start condition because of a bad coolant temperature sensor. But before you go throwing more money and parts at it, check your electrical connections. Usually when a problem is temperature sensitive it's a bad electrical connection. Hope that helps! Jim

One other thing, when you replaced the ECM did you transfer the PROM from the old ECM to the new one? You should have. Jim

Even though it is OBD 1 there is still some live data that can be pulled, the bad part is it has to be in failure so you can see what has stopped working. This sounds like the sync signal stops due to heat failure, so you might need a new distributor stator a new ignition module. Very common on those old Chevys.
