#2 fuse (blower motor) 7.5a keeps blowing out

Asked by Sep 23, 2016 at 07:08 PM about the 2000 Ford Ranger XLT Standard Cab SB

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

What should i try to do to fix this?
I've replaced blower motor resistor & plug.
Checked all fuses, followed wiring harness to grill all
wires look smooth and blemish free. I've tapped on
the blower motor itself, and checked all my
grounds.
Previously I had smoke coming from radio and dash
area, I pulled the dash apart and came to the
conclusion my radio went bad, replaced it
everything works great except blower motor,
windshield wipers and gauges on my dash
