Loud AC after being charged

1990 Chevy scottsdale ac wasn't cold and
after it was recharged it has a vibration
and a horrible noise. Would this have
come from recharge?

It might if they over charged the system, that can cause the compressor to rapidly switch on/off and a loud groaning noise. If a shop did this I'd have them recheck their work for proper pressure and that oil was added for compressor as well.
