Slave cylinder would be on the drivers side of the tranny, starter is on the passenger side. HTH

you tell me- sounds like an inconvenient way to stuff an engine compartment- but with GM, nothing would surprise me-

My truck is a 93 1500 manual do i need to take of the slave cylinder?

Should still be the same configuration, you shouldn't have to even touch the slave cylinder.
