Brake lights

Asked by Jul 06, 2017 at 08:24 PM about the 1996 Chevrolet C/K 1500 Silverado Standard Cab LB 4WD

Question type: General

I have a 96 Chevy Silverado that I put aftermarket
led tail lights in, which plug into the factory
harness, I've had the lights in the truck for about 3
months and the brake lights in both tail lights
stopped working but the tail lights still work. Has
anyone else experienced this? If so were you able
to fix the issue? I did go through all the wiring and
even cleaned all the connections up and still can't
those two brake lights to work. The third brake
does work so I know that the fuse isn't popped. If
anyone has any ideas on what could be the issue I
would greatly appreciate the help.
