what is the responsibility of the fuel pump relay?

Is it possible to replace the board where the fuel pump relay sits  (under the
hood), because i am getting no power from the circuit prongs where the fuel
pump relay goes.

The eaisy way is too just install another relay connector, cut the fuel pump relay wires and splice in a new relay connector, readlly available from your local parts store.
