Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 97 chevy c1500 5.0 will not crank!! We have
changed crank shaft position sensor, intake
gasket, ... you name it we've changed it and still
nothing. I really need an answer.  This is my only
ride.

If it won't crank then check the battery, starter and the cables going to it. If those check good then check for voltage from the ignition switch to the small terminal on the solenoid, it should have battery voltage when the key is in the crank position, if not then check the park switch if an automatic, clutch switch if a standard for power coming from the ignition switch in the crank position, if no power replace the ignition switch. HTH
