will rev up if jumper cables are attached?

1 Answer

There may be a computer that doesn't allow your engine to work too hard when not in gear. Or if this happens while your car is in gear it means the computer senses something seriously wrong with the engine and won't let you work it past 2500 in order to protect the engine
