Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 1998 chevy z71 5.7. My fuel pump and
injectors were working fine before i changed
motors and now the pump isn't kicking in. I put a
new relay in and checked all the fuses  and put a
new throttle body, injectors and all gas line on it
and it's still not working. What could be the
problem?

Your probably going to have to start tracing the power wire back to the fuel pump. A test light would be handy. I would start at the fuel pump power wire, see if power is there. A lot of times it is a ground back there.

You may want to check the oil pressure sending unit as well. Both of those circuits are tied together. If the computer isn’t getting a signal that you have oil pressure the pump won’t kick on. Had an issue with mine when the oil pressure gage on dash stopped working. It showed pressure and was sending a signal pc so it would actually kick on my fuel pump while the ignition was off and keys were still in my hand
