No air blowing to the front windshield when defroster button is selected, What is going on?

There is no air blowing to my windshield when I press the defrost button. AC works, Heat works and blower is fine. When I press the defrost button, air blows to my face from the front vents and there is no air blowing to the windshield vents. Again, Ac works, Heat is hot and blower is great. No defrost. windshield is all foggy and cannot see. Live in MN. Please Help

No answer but exact same issue on 2001 qx. Can anyone help us?
