I'm lost

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Changed the plugs on my 85 c10 after doing so
truck will not start turns over but no fire off.. it gets
fuel no vacuum leaks cap plugs right. After I did
the plugs it wouldn't start I ran down the list an
changed the coil module on top of distributior cap
the rotor inside the dis cap the wires an did all
without messing it up as far as right wires to right
plug to right connection on the dis cap still turns
over strong no fire. Any ideas

Try this take one of the wires off and put a Phillips head screw driver in the wire one that fits good, make sure its long enough screw driver. Take the screw driver and mount it near a metal part on the engine and there will need to be a gap from the screw driver to the metal part. Have someone crank the car and see if you have any spark.If you have spark the possible your gap on your plugs are wrong.if no spark check the rotor you installed it may not be touching the the points inside the cap...
