cannot remove camber bushing on 1986 K10, tried penetrant and shocking with tool

shop says they need to remove front BJ at $600

Anyone should be able to press out the ball joint , the camber can be off with worn control arm bushings , camber bushing sounds like , head light fluid , but being 4 wheel drive it may well be a $600** job , With a truck that old there may be a string of other things that should be done while it's pulled apart , upper and lower ball joints should be done , your experience may differ .
