1988 chevy 2500

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Im putting on the rear studs because they were
sheered off. My question is, is the stud pulled all
the way thru or is there a small gap in the back so
only the threads show on the other side? I only ask
because i thought they go all the way thru but
when i was looking at driver side they all have that
gap. Thanks

Fully seat the stud. If you don't you will end up with a loose wheel.

Thank you. So would you say since the other side had none fully seated it may have had something todo with the opposite side shearing ita studs?

I don't know. You could use some washers as spacers and a lug nut to pull the studs up tight.
